Dr. Green is Chairman of Pediatrics at Northwestern, and Physician-in-Chief at Children's Memorial Hospital, one of the top pediatric hospitals in the U.S. (He succeeds James Stockman, who left the position to become President of the American Board of Pediatrics). Dr. Franklin is a pediatric cardiologist who coordinates all CME and recertification review activities for Children's, as such he is expert in the content of the recertification exam and its structure. Dr. Tanz directs the consult service at Children's and thus has a wide breadth of clinical knowledge. All three are widely published in the journal literature but this will be their first book.

Great Book for Home School Science or Biology Studies

As a home school parent I am always looking for good educational books/resources. This book is a great tool for young and older students alike. The book gives a good description of mantids (who knew there are over 2400 species of them!), their care, costs and tips, all of which is easy to read and understand, especially those learning about mantids for the first time. I would highly recommend this book for home school students!

This is truly a no fluff book about why worry! It is practical and helpful and the author gives different situations in people who worry and how to avoid this.

The book is an interesting read and I found it very helpful, however, what I do not like is that it is hard to navigate around in and it was written originally some time ago for a different time.

This analysis reveals the discursive strategies used by the militant organizations to create what Foucault calls regimes of truth and articulate identities of the Self and the Other.
The first of its kind, this book provides an insight into the mind-set of extremists. It presents a picture of the world that extremists construct through their own discourse and explains how extremists try to win the hearts and minds of mainstream Muslims in order to expand their support base, seek donations, and find new recruits.
